Taking the Stairs

It's often a good option to take the stairs for obvious reasons. However, if it's been awhile since you taken the stairs it maybe a good idea to take them going down instead of going up. Do this until you feel confident that you can tackle the stairs going up.

Slowly improve your leg strength and fitness level by taking one flight of stairs and then increasing to two and so on.

Using a Towel

There are a range of exercises you can do using a towel and this one is a simple and effective technique.

The goal of this exercise is to maintain continuous tension on the towel and perform the reps in a slow and controlled manner. Other than a good calf muscle stretch, if this exercise is done correctly, it will give you a good upper back and bicep workout as well.
